I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful province. It’s a cold winter day, but I can almost smell the salty ocean air and hear the waves crashing. How lovely it must be to have a summer seaside wedding ceremony here in Nova Scotia….is it August yet???

The nautical theme has always been a popular choice here on the east coast and it’s not a fad that will end anytime soon. Navy is a timeless and beautiful wedding colour and no matter how it’s incorporated it’s just stunning.

Anytime I display Kelly’s stationery suite at a show or a consult I receive a ton of compliments. Nicole LaPierre photographed these nautical themed Oak Island invitations so perfectly. I love that she always takes the time to stylize your invitations so you (and I) have an extra special keepsake to cherish for years to come.  It’s so important to make sure you keep and extra copy for your photographer so these special details you spent so much time making perfect get photographed.

I promise to shoot a little video clip of the program booklets so you can really see how fun and unique they were.  I’m sure Kelly & Mitch’s wedding party and guests loved reading through them at the reception.
